A life without sound.

Growing up with a deaf father has impacted my life in multiple ways. But this difference is normal to me and has given me a view into two different worlds – one deaf and one hearing. There are many differences between the two words: sounds and silence, a verbal versus visual language and boundaries that limit the merging of worlds. Immersed in silence, my personal documentary places you into the deaf world and displays the beauty and fluid movements of American Sign Language, with the assistance of closed captioning.
